Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Bridge to Bridge Animal Rescue in St James cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs
$50.00 Adoption Fee
Cats
$25.00 Adoption Fee

On occasion, we may take in animals into our rescue that require more intense care to include surgery, frequent vet visits, etc or may have special needs therefore fees  will be determined on a case by case basis.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Bridge to Bridge Animal Rescue in St James cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the animals. At adoption, Bridge to Bridge Animal Rescue in St James animals will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • DAPPV
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Micro-chipped
Cats
  • Rabies & FVRCP
  • Test for Feline Leukemia & AIDS
  • Deworming
  • Flea/Ear Mite treatments
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Microchipped
